- Data Shared: Audio recordings
- Purpose: Convert audio to text transcriptions
- Processing: Real-time, not retained by Deepgram for training
AI Analysis (Google Gemini)
- Data Shared: Transcriptions
- Purpose: Extract goals, strategies, wins, patterns, insights, gratitudes, emotional states; generate reports; power AI chat
- Processing: Real-time, not retained by Google for training (per API terms)
Cloud Infrastructure (Google Firebase)
- Data Shared: All app data
- Purpose: Hosting, storage, database, authentication
- Security: Enterprise-grade encryption
Analytics (Amplitude)
- Data Shared: App interaction events, anonymous user ID, feature usage counts
- Purpose: Product analytics and performance monitoring
- Data NOT Shared: Transcription content, personal insights, voice recordings
3.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

4. Data Storage and Security
4.1 Where We Store Your Data
- Primary Storage: Google Cloud Platform (Firebase), United States
- Encryption in Transit: TLS 1.2+ (HTTPS)
- Encryption at Rest: AES-256, managed by Google Cloud
4.2 How We Protect Your Data
- All data encrypted in transit and at rest
- Firebase Security Rules restrict access to your own data only
- Regular security assessments
4.3 Data Retention
Active Accounts:
- All data retained while your account is active
- You can delete individual recordings at any time
Account Deletion:
- When you request deletion, we schedule permanent deletion for 30 days later
- This gives you time to change your mind
- After 30 days, all data is permanently and irreversibly deleted
5. Your Privacy Rights
5.1 Access and Portability
- Access your data through the App at any time
- Play back your recordings
- View your transcriptions, extracted data, and reports
- Request a data export by contacting us
5.2 Correction
- Update your profile information in Settings
- Contact us to correct other data
5.3 Deletion
Delete Individual Content:
- Delete individual recordings from the App
- Associated transcriptions and extracted data are also deleted
Delete Your Account:
- Request deletion in Settings
- 30-day waiting period (you can cancel during this time)
- After 30 days, permanent deletion of all your data
5.4 Opt-Out
- Disable analytics in App settings (where available)
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails via unsubscribe link
6. Regional Privacy Rights
6.1 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
You have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect
- Delete your personal information
- Opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell your data)

We use AI to transcribe your audio, extract goals, strategies, wins, patterns, insights, gratitudes, and emotional states, generate personalized reports, and provide contextual chat responses. These AI features are for personal reflection only and do not produce legal effects or make decisions that significantly affect you.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email to your account address or in-app notification. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
