1. Information We Collect

- Retention: Not retained by Deepgram after processing

Google Gemini AI (AI Analysis)
- Data Shared: Transcription text
- Purpose: Extract goals, strategies, wins, patterns, and insights; perform emotional analysis; track topics and themes; generate personalized reflections, follow-up prompts, and synthesis reports
- Processing: Real-time processing only
- Retention: Not retained by Google for model training (per Google Cloud API terms)
- Privacy: Google Cloud Privacy
Amplitude (Analytics)
- Data Shared: App interaction events, anonymous user ID, feature usage counts
- Purpose: Product analytics and performance monitoring
- Data NOT Shared: Transcription content, personal insights, voice recordings
- Retention: Per Amplitude data retention policy

4. Data Storage and Security
4.1 Where We Store Your Data
- Primary Storage: Google Cloud Platform (Firebase), United States
- Backup: Managed by Google Cloud
4.2 Encryption
- In Transit: TLS 1.2+ (HTTPS) for all data transmission
- At Rest: AES-256 encryption, managed by Google Cloud
4.3 Access Controls
- Firebase Security Rules restrict access to your own data only
- All API keys stored server-side (never exposed to client)
- Authentication required for all data access
4.4 Recording Processing
- During voice recording, audio is written to a temporary file on the device for crash resilience
- This temporary file is automatically cleaned up after successful upload
- Audio is uploaded to secure cloud storage upon recording completion
5. Data Retention and Deletion
5.1 Active Accounts
- All data retained while your account is active
- You can delete individual recordings at any time
- Deleted recordings and associated extracted data are permanently removed
5.2 Account Deletion
How to Delete Your Account:
- Go to Settings in the App
- Select "Delete Account"
- Confirm deletion request
Deletion Process:
- Upon request, we schedule permanent deletion for 30 days later
- During this grace period, you can cancel the deletion request
- After 30 days, all data is permanently and irreversibly deleted:
- Audio recordings
- Transcriptions
- All extracted data (goals, strategies, wins, patterns, insights, gratitudes, emotional logs)
- Topic and theme tracking data
- AI-generated reflections
- AI-generated follow-up prompts
- Personalized analysis and synthesis reports
- Notification schedules and engagement data
- Habit completion logs
- Profile information
- Firebase Authentication account
Data We May Retain:
- Aggregated, anonymized analytics data may be retained as it cannot identify individual users
- Data required for legal compliance
6. Your Privacy Rights
6.1 Access and Portability
- Access your data through the App at any time
- Play back your recordings
- View transcriptions, extracted data, reflections, and reports

6.2 Correction
- Update your profile information in Settings

6.3 Deletion
- Delete individual recordings from the App
- Delete your entire account via Settings

- Unsubscribe from marketing emails via unsubscribe link

You have the right to:

8. Children's Privacy

These AI features are for personal reflection only and do not produce legal effects or make decisions that significantly affect you. All AI-generated content is provided as a tool for self-reflection and personal growth; it does not constitute professional advice of any kind.
10. Subscription and Pricing
Interiority offers subscription plans with pricing as displayed in the App. Subscription management, including cancellation, is handled through your device's app store or within the App settings. For current pricing details, please refer to the App.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via:
- Email to your account address
- In-app notification
Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
